Gold has always been her favourite colour – even as a child, she dreamed of a golden carriage. Gold jewellery, stylish clothing, cultural events – this is her world. And she still loves to travel. However, it has become a bit uncomfortable now, and she depends on her husband’s help, as she can no longer walk as easily as she used to.
For their golden wedding anniversary, she embarks on a special journey with her Mike – once again to enjoy the view of the blue lake, the atmosphere, and all the memories of their first holiday together. Oh, how in love they were! How beautiful it was …
Then the big day arrives: their anniversary – and Mike has planned something special for the lady of his heart. He has gotten her a very unique “golden carriage” as a gift, one that will provide her with security. Not drawn by horses, but one she can steer herself.
Gina is thrilled – the colour! A dream come true! The design is exquisite, and that shine – so refined. Just her style!
Proudly, she now sits on the rollator, eager to take her first steps with it. She starts to dream – perhaps she could go to the theatre again? Maybe even venture on a city break?
But Mike interrupts her thoughts: “Come on, darling! I have another surprise for you.” Celebrating together is even better, so Mike has invited their friends to join them for their golden wedding anniversary. Together, they toast the happy couple and then set off for the next part of the day’s festivities – just like old times!
The path leads along the promenade towards the harbour – wonderful! A romantic boat ride awaits. Feeling the gentle breeze on her face, the sun on her skin, and savouring the sense of freedom. Gina can’t stop smiling.
A wonderful day. A wedding anniversary more perfect than she could have ever wished for. “Thank you, my love – for 50 years and for my golden carriage, which gives us so much more freedom,” says Gina.
And over the next few days, the two “lovebirds” continue their travels, exploring cities and enjoying cultural events together.
